22 Years of Giving: TT Brothers Limited Ushers in the New Year with Love at Tema SOS Children’s Village
Company marks its 22nd consecutive New Year celebration with donations, joy-filled activities, and renewed commitment to orphanage

TT Brothers Limited has once again welcomed the New Year in a spirit of compassion, generosity, and joy, hosting a vibrant New Year celebration for the children of SOS Children’s Village in Tema. The event marked the company’s 22nd consecutive year of steadfast support for the orphanage, reaffirming a partnership built on love, trust, and unwavering commitment.
The annual celebration, now a cherished and permanent fixture on the company’s calendar, brought together children, SOS mothers, caregivers, village staff, and members of the media in an atmosphere overflowing with excitement, gratitude, and festivity.
Presenting the donations on behalf of TT Brothers Limited, the company’s Secretary, Juliana Aba Bilson, expressed heartfelt appreciation to SOS Children’s Village for its continued openness and partnership over the years.
“It’s not every house that when you knock, they open their doors to you,” she remarked.
“For 22 years, SOS has welcomed us, and we are grateful to celebrate the New Year once again with the children. This is our small token to say thank you, and we promise to keep coming.”
As part of the celebration, TT Brothers Limited donated 15 bags of rice, 15 bottles of cooking oil, and 30 cartons of assorted drinks to support the daily needs of the children.
The items were received on behalf of the village by Mother Representative Theresa Safoh, who conveyed profound gratitude to the company, its management, and staff for their consistent and selfless support over the years.
Beyond the donations, the celebration came alive with engaging activities including musical chairs, dancing competitions, and open dance sessions, as children, mothers, and guests joined in the festivities with laughter and enthusiasm.
Winners of the various competitions were presented with gifts and awards, heightening the excitement and joy of the occasion.
The festivities were further enriched as hot meals were served to the entire village, accompanied by assorted soft drinks for children, mothers, and guests—strengthening the sense of unity, care, and shared celebration.
In an interview, Eric Duodu, Alternative Care Coordinator of SOS Children’s Village, Tema, highlighted the critical role of partnerships in caring for vulnerable children.
“SOS Children’s Village cannot do this work alone. Partnerships like the one we have with TT Brothers Limited are crucial,” he stated.
“For 22 years, TT Brothers has shown consistency, and every donation that comes to SOS goes directly to the benefit of the children. We have strict systems and audits to ensure accountability.”
He also used the occasion to appeal to other organisations and individuals to support the work of SOS Children’s Village across Ghana.
TT Brothers Limited reaffirmed its dedication to the initiative, describing the New Year celebration at SOS as one of the company’s most treasured annual programmes.
“For us, the biggest reward is the smile on the children’s faces,” Juliana Bilson added. “This is not something we plan to stop. It is a promise, and we look forward to doing even more.”
The celebration concluded with group photographs, dancing, and renewed pledges of support, once again underscoring TT Brothers Limited’s deep commitment to social responsibility and its enduring partnership with SOS Children’s Village in Tema.
