More than 280 Germans have left Gaza Strip, Berlin reports

According to Germany’s Foreign Office, more than 280 Germans and their relatives have been able to leave the Gaza Strip in recent days.

Work is continuing to ensure that all German passport holders wishing to leave the war-torn coastal area are able to do so, the authority said on the social media platform X late Saturday.

Over the past two weeks, foreigners have been able to leave the Gaza Strip for Egypt.

Palestinian officials said about 600 foreigners and Palestinians with dual citizenship were allowed to leave on Friday alone.
