Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Kofi Owusu Peprah has added another major achievement to his music career after winning the Best Urban/Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year award at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards with his inspirational hit song Big God Afro.
The victory marks a significant milestone for the talented gospel artiste, whose unique style and uplifting message continue to inspire many music lovers across Ghana and beyond. The category was highly competitive, featuring top gospel songs such as Ebefa by Ewura Abena, Aha Ye (The Good Place) by Diana Hamilton featuring Ntokozo Mbambo and Elder Mireku, Ready by Scott Evans, Stamina by Kofi Karikari, and Yehoda by Carl Clottey featuring Luigi Maclean.
Speaking after receiving the award, Kofi Owusu Peprah expressed gratitude to God, his loyal fans, and his management team for their continuous support throughout his musical journey.
“This award means so much to me. I want to dedicate this honor to my hardworking management team and especially to the memory of my late father, Rev. George Owusu Mensah, whose prayers, guidance, and support shaped the person I am today,” he said emotionally.
