Ayawaso West Wuogon MP Shows Love To Taxi Drivers

The Member of Parliament, Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan paid an unannounced visit to some taxi stations in her constituency to interact with the drivers.

 

The MP made them understand how the government is very empathetic to the Ghanaian people generally and to commercial drivers in particular.

The MP used the occasion to inform the drivers of the reasons behind the high cost of fuel and the efforts being made by the government of His Excellency the President to revive the economy in the wake of Covid and the invasion of Ukraine.

The drivers, for their part, expressed their appreciation and hope that fuel prices will come down.

In her tour of these stations, the Member of Parliament who doubles as the Deputy Majority chief whip, gave out some fuel coupons to the drivers to alleviate their current difficulties.
