The Kaneshie District Court “1” on Tuesday adjourned a case involving Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the New Patriotic Party’s leader in parliament, and Accra-based investigative journalist Daniel Benin Ohim to November 26th.
Afenyo-Markin has filed a legal complaint following a social media “teaser” allegedly posted by Benin.
The teaser reportedly alludes to a story about “an MP impregnating someone’s bride-to-be and paying off the husband.”
Although the full story has not yet been published, Afenyo-Markin contends the teaser targets him.
Represented by Paa Kwesi Abadoo of Dehyena Chambers, Afenyo-Markin is seeking GHC500,000 in damages and a permanent injunction.
Judicial sources confirm that the case remains pending as it awaits further proceedings later this month.
Meanwhile the Journalist is still hunting and searching for the father of a wedlock child, a baby girl of the renowned NPP MP who hails from the Central Region.
“The lady in question in this romantic escapade with the NPP MP has her name starting with the letter ‘A’.

The husband at the receiving end of this brutal wickedness, who currently stays at Kasoa has also sued the NPP MP in question.
