Communication Team Member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Benjamin Gyewu-Appiah has descended on the Ghana Institute of Architects for failing to defend their colleague who happens to be the husband of the Former Sanitation Minister, Cecilia Abena Daapah.
The Former Sanitation Minister, Cecilia Abena Daapah, has been in the news for almost two weeks for reporting to the Police a huge some of Money from her house, which is believed to be stolen by her House helps.
According to Bengazy who is a close friend to the Minister’s family, the missing money belongs to the Husband of the Minister which was earned through his architecture work and he is disappointed in the Association to which the husband of the Minister belongs.
“She is a very good woman who treated all persons around her well. But with all that is happening, I blame the Ghana Institute of Architects.

They know the Minister’s husband is one of the best Architects in Africa. He has done many jobs outside Ghana including Dubai where he designed skyscrapers. His drawings are worth over $5M. Her husband is currently not feeling well so the case was reported by the former minister. “ – Gyewu-Appiah explained on Atinka TV’s Oman Mu Nsem hosted by Nana Owuahene Acheampong
When asked why that huge some of money should be kept home, Bengazy explained that “that must not be encouraged but has the Sanitation Ministry complained that their money is missing? Madam Cecilia Dapaah is a very respected Politician. She has a very good reputation and trust me, nobody can take that from her. That is why the Ghana Institute of Architects must come and defend her husband.”
