NPP Bekwai Parliamentary Candidate Ralph Poku-Adusei Courts Support Of Chiefs

The selected parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bekwai constituency, Ralph Poku-Adusei, has been formally presented to the esteemed chiefs and elders across the Bekwai municipality by the NPP executives.

After securing a resounding victory in the primaries on January 27, 2024, Poku-Adusei, a young Ghanaian lawyer and native of Bekwai, emerged as the chosen candidate with 70% of the valid votes, totaling 662 out of 938 votes.

In recognition of the traditional authorities of Amansie, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Kwaku Kyei Baffour, accompanied by constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, polling station executives, and former constituency executives, undertook a series of visits to formally introduce Ralph Poku-Adusei to the chiefs and elders.

MCE Kwaku Kyei Baffour, addressing the media, highlighted Poku-Adusei’s steadfast commitment to the welfare and progress of the Bekwai municipality and underscored the importance of seeking the blessings of local leaders in the lead-up to the elections.

Expressing gratitude for being chosen as the NPP parliamentary candidate for Bekwai in 2024, Ralph Poku-Adusei affirmed his dedication to diligently serving the community and safeguarding its interests.

Acknowledging the significance of traditional leaders, Poku-Adusei and his team embarked on a positive tour to introduce themselves and seek endorsement, receiving warm receptions during visits to Amoaful, Asakyire, and Asamang.

Poku-Adusei recognized the invaluable counsel received from respected leaders, shaping his campaign efforts. The tour extended to Adankragya, Bekwai, Kokofu, and Essumeja on the second day.

Scheduled visits to the remaining traditional areas are planned in the coming weeks, as the team aims to engage with all stakeholders in the Bekwai constituency leading up to the December 2024 elections.
