SGS Ghana Supports Tema General Hospital With Medical Equipment
As part of its cooperate social responsibility, SGS Ghana Limited donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the Tema General Hospital.
According to the management of Tema General Hospital, the facility needs more medical equipment to improve healthcare delivery.
The items include Wheelchairs, Patient trolleys, Desktop computers, and Suction machines among others.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Hospital, the Medical Director Dr. Richard Anthony said some of the medical equipment requirements for emergency care have been broken down, impeding health delivery. He expressed appreciation to the donors.
The Caroline Bruce-Cathline (Mrs) HR Manager of SGS Ghana underscored the need for hospitals to be supported with the requisite medical tools for effective healthcare delivery.
The staff of the hospital touted the importance of the medical equipment, saying it is an essential component of their operation in terms of preventing, diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases as well as during rehabilitation after an injury.
