Egyptian Parent Attacks British Student, Threatens Eye Gouging at St. Peter’s School

St. Peter’s Mission School in Ogbojo, Accra, is facing intense criticism after an Egyptian parent, Mr. Mossad, allegedly stormed into a classroom and assaulted a British student in front of the Assistant Headmaster.

The incident, which included a chilling threat to “take the student’s eyes out” in a future attack, was not reported to the victim’s family until they confronted the school, sparking outrage over how the situation was handled.

According to reports, the Egyptian father entered the classroom while the Assistant Headmaster was teaching and physically attacked the British student.

Witnesses say that during the assault, Mr. Mossad threatened to blind the student in his next attack.

Despite the severity of the incident, the school failed to notify the student’s parents until they were confronted about the assault, raising serious questions about the school’s protocol and transparency.

The school administration has since admitted that the Egyptian father has been uncooperative in resolving the matter. Despite three attempts to schedule meetings with both families, the Egyptian parent has repeatedly failed to attend without providing any excuse.

The school is now appealing to the British family to give them more time to address the situation, but the family has expressed frustration and is unwilling to grant further delays.

“This is the third time we’ve scheduled a meeting, and the Egyptian family has not shown up. We can’t keep waiting while our child is at risk,” Ahobah Frank, a representative of the British family, stated.

The school’s handling of the situation has also caused concern among other parents, who fear for the safety of their own children.

Speaking off the record, some parents and students shared their unease, saying they do not know when a similar incident could happen to their children.

“We send our children here with the expectation that they will be safe, but after hearing about this attack, we’re worried,” one parent confided.

“The fact that an adult could walk into a classroom, attack a student, and issue such a grave threat without immediate action being taken is alarming. The school should have involved the police right from the start.” – another parent said.

For now, the school is appealing for more time, but the situation has escalated to a point where swift action is required to restore confidence in the institution’s ability to protect its students. The case remains under investigation as the British family explores legal options.

During our visit to the school, the administration declined to speak to the media. The Administrator informed our reporter, Ebenezer Madugu, stating, “It is too early to engage with the media.”
