VfB Stuttgart has renewed the contract of forward Silas Katompa Mvumpa by two more years until 2026, the Bundesliga club said on Sunday.
Congolese Silas, 24, came to Stuttgart in 2019 and has played 83 matches for them, scoring 23 goals and providing 15 assists.
“Silas is an important factor in our attacking game with his speed and danger in front of goal,” Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth said.

“He has more potential which we want to develop together with him in the upcoming months and years.”
Silas said that “the club is offering me very good conditions to further develop.”
Stuttgart is in the danger zone in the 16th after the first part of the season. Their next game is on January 21 against Mainz.
