Ghanaian Tourism Enthusiasts Named 2023 AFCON Brand Influencers

The Government of Ghana has been working to boost tourism through initiatives like the Year of Return and December in GH.

Two Ghanaian content creators, Lewis Osei and Dennis Asare Okai, who run the popular tourism brand “Brothers from Ghana”, have been making major contributions in this regard.

Their engaging social media content highlighting tourism destinations across Africa has helped promote the continent globally.

Now, their tireless efforts have been recognized with a prestigious new appointment.

Brothers from Ghana were recently nominated as the official brand influencers and content creators of Total Energies for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

They are among only 11 influencers from across the 54 African nations selected for this role.

Speaking about the nomination on their official social media handles, Brothers from Ghana said “We are ready to provide you with rich experiences and give you the best of content across Africa.”

They will be creating social media posts, videos, and other engagements during the tournament to promote the host nations and tourist attractions.

Lewis Osei, known as Kwabena Daa-Hene, and Dennis Asare Okai, known as Kofi Mahony, established Brothers from Ghana in 2020.

Through their viral content, they have gained a large following and become trusted guides in promoting African tourism.

They focus on experiencing various cultures and festivals, uncovering new destinations, and collaborating with local tourism boards.

As the first Ghanaians to receive such an honor, Brothers from Ghana are excited to showcase Africa’s beauty and diversity to an even wider audience during the AFCON.

Their goal is to unite the continent through tourism and continue pushing African tourism to greater heights.
