Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, who has failed to contribute meaningfully to any debate in Parliament since he joined the House in 2000, myopically believes that he can be President of this country (since he hasn’t been held to account for his 23 years holiday in Parliament).
This is a visionless politician who devotes his time and energy towards insulting leaders of the country, his own party and its officers, the clergy, etc.
Having been associated with inflammatory statements since he entered Parliament in 2000; discerning Ghanaians are yet to come to terms with the shameful and disgraceful hallucinations of Ken Agyapong that ‘saints’ are threatening him and his associates. This is a person whose threats led to the death of Ahmed Suale of Tiger Eye, and instead of rendering unqualified apologies to the family of Ahmed Suale and the entire country, he goes about spewing garbage.
In normal democracies, charlatans like Ken Agyapong won’t even qualify to contest for the lowest constitutional position.
However, our abnormal democracy has let loose such yobbish characters to parade as politicians.
Ken Agyapong is on record to have attacked the then Central Regional Police Commander, DCOP now COP Paul Manly Awini, at UEW north campus in 2019 for no apparent reason. According to the publication on ghanaweb: “Kennedy Agyapong charged on the police commander for reasons yet to be established and warned him to be careful or he will deal with him drastically”. In another instance, Ken Agyapong is reported to have declared publicly that the sole reason why he want to be President of our beloved country is to deal with pastors.

It is clear that Ken Agyapong hasn’t got the development of Ghana at heart.
Ken Agyapong is counseled to first deal with the fly that hovers over his miserable face first if he is a man, by catching the fly and squeezing the life out of it. After that Ken would then qualify to enter into a real showdown contest with a 10 year old kid from the North East Region. Ken Agyapong is small fry for adults in the North East Region to waste their time on.
If Ken Agyapong doesn’t know where to find me, his bosom friend and colleague MP-cum-owner of UEW, can be of great help in this regard. It is not for nothing that it is widely acknowledged that: “Birds of identical plumage, congregate under the same proximity”. I eagerly await the visit of this pathetic duo at my base.
Reasonable members of society don’t expect the Vice President, His Excellency, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to stoop low and waste his time and energy on the vituperations of lightweights’ like Ken Agyapong.
According to the Mamprusis: “When one is armed to hunt down elephants, you don’t waste your superior firepower on goats”.
