As our party goes to the polls to elect 𝙽𝙿𝙿 𝙵𝙾𝚄𝚁𝚃𝙷(4) 𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚛/𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚐𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚛 on 4th November 2023, to lead our great 𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚢 going into the next General Election in 2024, below are some historical facts regarding the NPP internal Presidential Primaries contestants, results and leaders since 1992 until the date
There have been 8(Eight) different occasions to elect NPP Flagbearer but on 2(two) occasions, there was a Popular acclamation in 2004 for President John Agyekum Kuffour and 2020 for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
On the Six(6) times that the party has held election, we’ve produced 3(three) flagbearers with 2(Two) as Presidents, 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙁 𝘼𝙇𝘽𝙀𝙍𝙏 𝘼𝘿𝙐 𝘽𝙊𝘼𝙃𝙀𝙉, 𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙕 𝙅𝙊𝙃𝙉 𝘼𝙂𝙔𝙀𝙆𝙐𝙈 𝙆𝙐𝙁𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙕 𝘼𝙆𝙐𝙁𝙊 𝘼𝘿𝘿𝙊.

Since no one could cross the 50% plus 1 votes threshold there was supposed to be a RUN OFF between Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo (1st position) n John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng (2nd Position) but Alan Kyeremateng threw his support for Nana Addo to become our flagbearer.
