WIUC Launches Cutting-Edge Cyber and AI Lab to Propel Ghana’s Tech Growth

The Wisconsin International University College (WIUC), known for its commitment to quality education and practical skill development, has inaugurated a cutting-edge Cyber, Digital Forensic System, and AI Laboratory within its School of Computing and Technology.

This initiative aligns with Ghana’s vision to enhance its cyber security infrastructure and drive technological progress.

At the ceremony held on July 9, 2024, in Accra, Minister for Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum emphasized the critical importance of cyber security in today’s interconnected world. He expressed gratitude to WIUC’s management for this significant addition, highlighting its impact on both the institution and the nation’s digital transformation journey.

“As we become increasingly interconnected, the need to protect our digital infrastructure and sensitive information from cyber threats becomes even more critical,” Dr. Adutwum noted. He expressed hope that the laboratory would equip students with essential skills to safeguard the digital future.
