Russia protests against Germany’s pressure on Russian media

The Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday expressed a protest to the German ambassador in Moscow over the pressure exerted on Russian media in Germany.

 The ministry said it pointed out that Berlin should not continue “the practice of systematic harassment of Russian journalists and restrict their professional activities under various pretexts.”

  Such “openly unfriendly” actions would be met with a response from Moscow, it added.
