Humanitarian Projects Leaders Will Gather In September In Russia

The World Peoples Assembly will convene the inaugural World Public Assembly (WOA) in Moscow from September 20th to 21st, bringing together over 2,000 delegates from more than 140 countries for an international humanitarian forum dedicated to dialogue, peace, and sustainable development.
Timed to coincide with the International Day of Peace, the Assembly aims to foster a just, harmonious, and sustainable global future through open discussions and public diplomacy.
The event will culminate in the presentation of the prestigious Public Recognition Award “For Service to Humanity”, honouring individuals and organizations for their exceptional contributions to peace, humanitarian cooperation, and service to humankind.
This landmark gathering will feature a diverse mix of public figures, diplomats, scientists, youth leaders, athletes, cosmonauts, and representatives from international organizations, including the UN, UNESCO, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN, CIS, EAEU, and others. A strong African presence is expected, with representatives from more than 32 African countries and at least one African speaker on each discussion panel.
The overarching theme of the World Assembly is New World of Conscious Unity, which will guide the plenary session and inform the event’s comprehensive business program.
The program features 7 panel sessions and over 40 thematic platforms exploring key areas such as:
- Strategic Partnership and Public Diplomacy.
- Humanitarian Modernization: Man as the Center of the Future.
- Values of the New World.
- Spiritual and Cultural Unity and Service to Values.
- Responsibility as the Foundation of the Future.
In line with its commitment to promoting global collaboration, the World Peoples Assembly has also launched a new grant initiative titled “Trust and Unity”, designed to support projects in international humanitarian cooperation and public diplomacy. The deadline for grant applications is July 30, 2025.
