Russian forces strike 149 Ukrainian targets: defense ministry

Russian forces have struck 149 Ukrainian targets over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

 The ministry said the targeted sites include enterprises manufacturing long-range drones, energy facilities, and transport infrastructure servicing the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as temporary deployment points belonging to the Ukrainian military and foreign mercenaries.

 The ministry noted that Russia’s air defense forces have shot down 220 fixed-wing drones, six guided aerial bombs, and nine U.S.-made HIMARS rockets over the same period.
