The Deputy Minister of Transport, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has been honoured by the La Mode 100 Most Influential Leading African Women.
The award is an annual initiative by La Mode Group in the United Kingdom (UK).
They celebrate 100 trailblazing African women for their leadership, impact, and excellence across various sectors.
The award also recognises women making significant strides in arts, culture, policy, and business.
The 2026 edition was held in London on International Women’s Day, which fell on March 8, with the theme “Give to Gain”.
Madam Affo-Toffey, who is also the Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, could not attend the event, and as such, the award was received on her behalf.
The citation presented with a splendid photograph of the Deputy Minister reads, “This award honours exceptional leadership, transformative achievements, and enduring contributions to societal progress.”
“Your influence reaches far beyond borders, setting new standards of excellence, empowering communities, and driving meaningful, lasting change across Africa and the world,” the citation reads.
