The resignation of Keir Starmer has triggered renewed public discussion around a set of earlier prophesy made by Ghanaian religious figure Francis Amoako Attah, Founder and Leader of Parliament Chapel International (PCI), who had predicted major political changes in the United Kingdom.
During a church service on January 25, 2026, Apostle Amoako Attah have spoken about significant political shifts in the UK, including changes in leadership, legal reforms, and what he described as a period of national difficulty that would lead to the stepping down of a sitting prime minister.
He revealed that Britain will be experiencing a change in its laws and the current Prime Minister will be sacked before the end of the year.
According to the SEER, Britain will go through hardships and sack their Prime Minister.
“The Lord said to me pray for the Prime Minister of Britain because there are Ghanaians in the UK…And He said this is the Blueprint, (showing me the blueprint) and said the man is finishing, the man is going down in history, the Prime Minister of London is going down. He has to resign and somebody has to take over.”
Apostle Francis Amoako Attah also revealed that when that happens they are going to announce early election and “many of the people will join the reform and when that happens no one will be safe in the UK.”
True to his prophesy, the UK Prime Minister Starmer has tendered in his resignation announcing on Monday, June 22, 2026.
The prophecy has resurfaced on social media, with believers pointing to the development as a possible fulfilment of his earlier remarks.
Starmer said in his resignation speech that he accepted the position of his parliamentary party after growing debate over his leadership and confirmed he would begin the process of handing over power.
The development has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users drawing parallels between the resignation and the earlier prophecy, while others caution against interpreting political events through religious predictions.
The Labour Party is expected to begin its leadership selection process in the coming weeks as the United Kingdom enters a new phase of political transition.
