Best Link Ventures Limited has accused Nii Ashitey Saasabi, the current Head and Lawful representative of Nii Anang Nkpa Nii Ashitey Akotiapong and Nii Ashitey Kwadzzobo Family of Saasabi, of unlawfully encroaching on its 176.82-acre parcel of land situated at Saasabi in Kpone Katamanso, and allegedly selling portions to unsuspecting members of the public despite the company’s claimed interest in the property.
The company has cautioned prospective land buyers to exercise extreme caution, warning that anyone who continues to transact business with the Saasabi Mantse regarding the disputed land does so at their own risk.
According to Best Link Ventures, a recent land transaction involving Florence Addobea Osew is illegal because the parcel allegedly sold to her falls within the company’s 176.82-acre landholding.
The company’s position follows an Official Certificate of Result of Search issued by the Lands Commission after a search application submitted by Florence Addobea Osew on June 9, 2026, with the results released on June 12, 2026.
The search report states that the land is “Not State Land,” indicating that it is not owned by the Government of Ghana. It also references a judgment delivered on November 26, 2015, in Suit No. AL32/2006 in favour of Nii Ashitey Saasabi.
In addition, the report notes that the land is “Affected by plotted activity for Best Link Ventures Limited,” citing Lodgment No. 005979/2015 and Regional No. X3646.
Best Link Ventures argues that the reference to its plotted activity in the Lands Commission’s records confirms that it has a registered survey interest over the area, and maintains that any sale of land falling within its 176.82-acre property without its authorization is unlawful.
The company has therefore urged the public, estate developers and prospective investors to conduct comprehensive due diligence before purchasing land within the disputed area.
It also advised prospective buyers to verify all documentation with the Lands Commission and seek independent legal advice before entering into any land transaction.
Best Link Ventures further indicated that it is prepared to pursue all available legal remedies to protect what it describes as its lawful interest in the land and to challenge any transactions it believes infringe upon its rights.
The dispute is expected to heighten concerns over land ownership and multiple sales in parts of the Greater Accra Region, where competing claims over land continue to generate litigation and uncertainty.
As of the time of publication, Nii Ashitey Saasabi had not publicly responded to the allegations made by Best Link Ventures Limited.
