Founder and leader of Parliament Chapel International (PCI), Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, has urged Christians to pursue lives of spiritual excellence, declaring that every individual has the potential to become a “star” destined to shine despite life’s challenges.
Speaking on Angel TV, the renowned preacher popularly called the SEER, based his message on Genesis 22:15-17, where God renewed His covenant with Abraham after he demonstrated unwavering obedience by offering his son Isaac.
According to Apostle Amoako Attah, God’s second call to Abraham represented a divine witness and introduced two distinct dimensions of blessing—one symbolised by the stars of heaven and the other by the sand on the seashore.
He explained that the stars represent people who attain spiritual prominence and influence, while the sand symbolises those who remain ordinary and are easily overlooked.
Drawing parallels with biblical history, he said the Jewish people exemplify those who became “stars,” maintaining global significance through generations, while others, represented by the sand, became scattered.
“Do you want to be a star or sand?” he asked worshippers, urging them to strive for the higher spiritual calling.
Using football as an analogy, Apostle Amoako Attah likened the concept to the FIFA World Cup, where nations present their finest players to compete on the global stage.
He stressed that every person has a divinely appointed moment to shine and should prepare diligently for that opportunity.
The preacher also reflected on the biblical account of the three wise men, arguing that they travelled not in search of a king but in pursuit of the star that announced the birth of Jesus Christ.
According to him, the star’s temporary disappearance before reappearing illustrates how spiritual destinies can face obstacles and opposition.
He further cited Joseph’s dream of the sun, moon and stars, saying that although Joseph’s brothers attempted to destroy his destiny by selling him into slavery, they could not prevent God’s purpose for his life.
Apostle Amoako Attah warned that individuals could encounter opposition when their time of elevation approaches, urging believers to remain spiritually vigilant against forces that seek to hinder their progress.
He concluded by sharing what he described as a divine revelation, declaring that between July 17 and July 29, those who have suffered losses would experience restoration.
“I had a revelation that from the 17th all the way to the 29th, whatever has been taken away from you shall be restored,” he declared.
