Aspiring Ayawaso West Wuogon MP Samuel Owusu Amankwaa has continued his engagement with young people through a free Beauty and Grooming Day held in collaboration with the University of Ghana TESCON.
The initiative gave students access to professional beauty and grooming services at no cost, while also creating an informal setting for them to interact with the parliamentary hopeful.
For Amankwaa, the event was more than just a grooming activity. It offered an opportunity to connect with students, listen to their concerns and engage them on issues affecting young people.
Speaking to the media during the programme, Amankwaa reaffirmed his commitment to youth development, stressing the need for initiatives that give young people practical support and opportunities to improve themselves.

He said meaningful youth engagement should not be limited to political conversations, but should also involve programmes that respond to the everyday needs of young people and help build their confidence.
The event forms part of Amankwaa’s broader efforts to deepen his relationship with young people in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency as he prepares for the next parliamentary election.
