The planned 20th anniversary anniversary of the enstoolment of the Chief of Dunkwa-On-Offin in the Central Region, Okofrobour Dr. Obeng Nuako III has been suspended until further notice.
The suspension, according to information, was due to undisclosed reasons by the chief and his elders.
In a statement written and signed by the stool secretary, Nana Yaw Boadu, the suspension of th3 celebration was to create room for great celebration at the due time.
According to the statement, the decision was necessitated by unforeseen circumstances.
The office has, therefore, called on the general public, traditional authorities, invited guests and well-wishers to take note of the suspension and await further communication regarding a new date for the celebration.
The statement assured that celebrated when settled on a new date would be successful to the admiration of all participants.
The office expressed appreciation for the public’s understanding and cooperation as arrangements are made for the event to be rescheduled.
