PE Group, organisers of the Ghana Property Awards and African Property Excellence Awards, is set to introduce verification badges for winners of the 2026 awards season.
The initiative is aimed at helping the public, clients and industry stakeholders easily identify properties, developers, companies and professionals that have been officially recognised through the two awards programmes.
According to PE Group, the verification badges will serve as an additional tool for confirming genuine award winners and helping to distinguish officially recognised recipients from entities that may make unverified claims of receiving an award.
The badges will be issued to winners of both the 2026 Ghana Property Awards and the African Property Excellence Awards and may be displayed on recognised properties, business platforms and other relevant channels.
PE Group said the initiative is part of its broader efforts to promote professionalism, transparency and accountability within the property and real estate sector.
The verification marks are also expected to give award winners a visible way of demonstrating their recognition while providing members of the public with greater confidence when dealing with award-recognised businesses and developments.
The Ghana Property Awards and African Property Excellence Awards recognise outstanding companies, developments, professionals and projects that have made significant contributions to the growth and development of the property and real estate industry.
Through the new verification system, PE Group hopes to strengthen the connection between the awards, industry players and the public while making it easier to identify officially recognised winners.
