Award-winning Highlife musician and songwriter Kofi Kinaata has paid a courtesy call on the executive management of MobileMoney Fintech Ltd (MMFL) at the company’s head office in Accra.
The high-level visit forms part of strategic stakeholder engagements between the Fintech giant and key players in Ghana’s creative industry ahead of the highly anticipated 2026 edition of the annual Made in Taadi concert in Takoradi.
Music as a Vehicle for Financial Inclusion
Receiving the musician, the Chief Executive Officer of MobileMoney Fintech Ltd, Mr. Haruna, expressed pride in MMFL’s association with Kofi Kinaata, describing the artist as a highly credible brand whose reach and authenticity align seamlessly with the company’s financial inclusion mandate.
“Welcome, we are proud to have you here, and for me, the association with you is very credible,” Mr. Haruna said.
He explained that while MMFL operates primarily as a technology provider, its overarching mission is to leverage technology to expand access to financial services, foster economic empowerment, and improve the quality of life for millions of Ghanaians.
Mr. Haruna emphasized that strategic communication is critical to driving awareness and adoption across MMFL’s broad product portfolio, noting that music serves as one of the most effective tools for public engagement.
“Most importantly, the universal means of communicating is actually music, and that is where the connection lies,” he stated. “For us, it’s a very symbiotic relationship. We believe that this will continue to deepen financial inclusion and the financial well-being of Ghanaians.”

Commending the “Susuka” hitmaker for his socially conscious songwriting and distinct artistic style, Mr. Haruna also confirmed his personal attendance at this year’s festival in the Western Regional capital.
“I am looking forward to joining you in December for the Made in Taadi event, and I can’t wait to celebrate Taadi and Ghana,” he added.
A Purpose-Driven Partnership
In his response, Kofi Kinaata expressed gratitude to MMFL leadership for their warm reception and sustained commitment to his brand and projects.
The artist stressed that the collaboration transcends commercial promotion, focusing instead on community impact and sustainable development. He highlighted MobileMoney Fintech Ltd’s financial literacy seminars and grassroots outreach as key initiatives driving digital payment adoption across the country.

“It’s an honor for me. What excites me is that we are not just doing payments; we are making an impact. The people are willing to listen, and they believe in us,” Kinaata said.
He reaffirmed his commitment to leveraging his public influence and musical platform to champion financial responsibility, digital literacy, and economic empowerment initiatives nationwide.
