Supporters of Ghanaian preacher Francis Amoako Atta say a prophecy he delivered on 15 February 2026 has been fulfilled following a deadly security incident near U.S. President Donald Trump’s Florida residence.
During a church service earlier this month, Apostle Amoako Atta reportedly stated that another assassination attempt was coming. According to accounts from congregants, he said he saw “four people,” including “the first one dressed in black… ready to assassinate.”
He also referenced a previous prophecy he said he released in 2024 concerning an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, which occured.
On 22 February, a man was shot and killed after entering the secure perimeter of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. The U.S. Secret Service confirmed the incident occurred at approximately 01:30 ET.
The suspect, identified by U.S. media as 21-year-old Austin T. Martin, was reportedly carrying a shotgun and a fuel can when he was spotted near the north gate of the property.
Authorities stated that Trump was not in Florida at the time of the incident.
Federal and local law enforcement agencies are continuing investigations into the suspect’s motive and movements prior to the incident.
Officials have not publicly confirmed whether the event is being treated as an assassination attempt, but security measures were swiftly enacted.
Followers of Apostle Amoako Atta have since circulated clips of his 15 February prophecy online, drawing parallels between his statements and the events in Florida.
The apostle had also claimed to have previously prophesied a 2024 assassination attempt involving the former president.
While supporters describe the development as a fulfillment of prophecy, critics caution against drawing direct conclusions, noting that investigations into the Florida incident are still ongoing.
Authorities have urged the public to rely on verified information as the case develops.
