The Chief Executive Officer of Sam Creatives, Mr. Samuel Clottey, has thrown his support behind TGMA Artiste of the Year Black Sherif for his continuous efforts in pushing Ghanaian music onto the international scene.
Speaking in an interview, Mr. Clottey praised the award-winning musician for his consistency, creativity, and unique style of music which continue to attract global attention.
According to him, Black Sherif has become one of the few young Ghanaian artistes successfully carrying the country’s music and culture beyond Africa through quality music, strong performances, and internationally accepted music videos.
“Black Sherif has really done well for Ghana. His music is everywhere now and he keeps proving himself on international stages. He deserves all the support and recognition,” he stated.
Mr. Clottey also congratulated the musician on winning the TGMA Artiste of the Year award, describing the achievement as a reflection of his hard work and dedication over the years.
Over the past few years, Black Sherif has gained worldwide recognition with songs such as Kwaku The Traveller, Second Sermon, First Sermon, Soja, Oil In My Head, and January 9th, earning millions of streams across digital platforms.

The Sam Creatives CEO further praised Black Sherif’s fashion sense, saying his style continues to influence many young people and perfectly fits his brand as an international artiste.
He added that he would be honored to style Black Sherif should the opportunity ever come.
Mr. Clottey also advised the musician to remain focused and not allow fame or pressure to distract him from his journey.
“He should stay focused because he has a long way to go and a lot more to achieve for Ghana music,” he added.
He further called on industry players and stakeholders within the creative arts sector to continue supporting Black Sherif as he continues to rise on the global stage.
According to him, supporting hardworking artistes like Black Sherif will encourage more young talents in Ghana to remain committed to their craft and aim for international success.
Black Sherif has performed at several major concerts and festivals across Europe, America, and parts of Africa, helping to promote Ghanaian music and culture to a wider global audience.
