Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, has extended financial support and donated a laptop to Awuah Seth Seyram, a brilliant young man from Asiakwa who has gained admission to the University of Ghana Medical School, Legon, to pursue his dream of becoming a medical doctor.
In addition to the laptop and an undisclosed amount of money, Dr. Agyemang has pledged his continued support to Seyram as he embarks on this important academic journey.
Seyram’s achievement is particularly significant because he is a product of the Kingsley Science and Maths Quiz, an initiative designed to identify, nurture, and promote academic excellence among young people in Abuakwa South.
Following his participation in the initiative, Seyram proceeded to Prempeh College, where he continued to demonstrate his academic brilliance. He represented the school in the just-ended National Science and Maths Quiz, helping the team progress to the semi-final stage of the competition.
His admission to medical school is another remarkable milestone in a journey characterised by hard work, dedication, and a passion for academic excellence.
Dr. Agyemang’s support reflects his commitment to investing in the future of young people by creating opportunities for talented students to achieve their ambitions, irrespective of the challenges they may face.
Present during the support presentation were Seyram’s mother and executives of the NPP in the Abuakwa South Constituency, who joined in celebrating his achievement and encouraging him to make the most of the opportunity.
As he begins his medical education at the University of Ghana Medical School, his story stands as an inspiring testament to the impact of educational initiatives, determination, and sustained mentorship.
