The Republic of Ghana is set to benefit a guaranteed income of GHs 550 million from KGL for the 2027 financial year.
The amount is expected to increase in 2028.
This amount, which is based on a 50-50 of the gross gaming income (GGI).
This is according to credible intel picked up by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) following the renegotiation of the NLA-KGL deal by the committee set up by President John Mahama.
Although the Information was quiet scanty, the source said the payment of the GHs 550 million based on a 50-50 of the gross gaming income (GGI) was a great deal to benefit the State through NLA and GRA.
According to the source, “the new income share model of 50-50 on the gross gaming income is expected to be introduced across the entire lottery sector.”
