Accra, April 6, 2026 — Excitement peaked at the 2026 Love Feast – Community Easter Celebration as winners of various competitions and prize draws were announced, marking one of the most impactful moments of the event held at The Outpouring Oasis.
The competition segment, which formed a major highlight of the celebration, saw children divided into two groups—“Team Funny Face” and “Team Nakeeyat”—competing in a series of engaging games including musical chairs, sack races, egg-and-spoon races, and dance contests.
At the end of the contest, Team Funny Face emerged victorious with an impressive 10 points, defeating Team Nakeeyat, which scored 2 points. The winning team was subsequently awarded a trophy in recognition of their outstanding performance and teamwork.
Beyond the group competition, the event also featured a special individual prize category, where winners were selected through a transparent lucky draw system to promote fairness and inclusivity.
Kelvin Fiabor emerged as the first lucky prize winner, taking home a cash prize of $200, while Michael Boateng was also awarded $200 as the second lucky prize winner.
In the third category, Phoebe Sam received an Android tablet, while Ohene Adjei Baffour won a cash prize of GH¢200 as the fourth lucky prize winner.
The announcement of winners was met with loud cheers and applause from participants and parents, reflecting the excitement and encouragement the initiative continues to generate among young people.
Organizers say the prize structure is intentionally designed not only to reward participation but also to provide meaningful educational support to children, particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds.
The Love Feast – Community Easter Celebration, organized by the DAP Global Foundation in collaboration with The Outpouring Oasis and PowerRead Africa Foundation, continues to stand as a purposeful platform that goes beyond celebration—combining joy with meaningful impact to ensure every child leaves not only entertained, but truly empowered.
