Members of Parliament Chapel International on Sunday gathered for a colourful and spirit-filled Special Jersey and Father’s Day Service led by the church’s founder and leader, Apostle Francis Amoako-Attah.
The unique service, which combined worship, thanksgiving and the celebration of fatherhood, saw hundreds of congregants dressed in various football and sports jerseys, creating an atmosphere of unity, joy and fellowship.

The event was also dedicated to honouring fathers and father figures for their sacrifices, leadership and commitment to their families, communities and the church. Special prayers were offered for fathers, while words of encouragement were shared to inspire men to continue playing their critical roles as spiritual leaders and role models.

Delivering the sermon, Apostle Francis Amoako-Attah challenged Christian fathers to emulate biblical values of love, responsibility, integrity and dedication. He stressed that fathers must not only provide for their families materially but also lead them spiritually by setting positive examples for future generations.
He noted that strong families remain the foundation of a strong society, urging fathers to remain steadfast in faith despite the challenges of modern life. According to him, the influence of a responsible father extends beyond the home and contributes significantly to national development.
The renowned preacher also called on the youth to honour and appreciate their fathers and guardians, describing fatherhood as a divine responsibility that deserves recognition and support.
The celebration featured moments of praise and worship, testimonies, presentations and special recognitions for fathers within the congregation. The jersey-themed service added excitement and strengthened the sense of togetherness among members.

Many congregants described the service as inspiring and refreshing, saying it provided an opportunity to celebrate fathers while reinforcing important Christian values.
