Emerging Ghanaian recording artiste and songwriter Forever Biny is gradually making his mark on the music scene as he seeks to build a distinctive career across Afrobeats, reggae and dancehall.
Born Wise Wadza Mawusi at Bowuri Kwamekrom in the Oti Region, the 23-year-old artiste hails from Dambai and was raised in Sowutuom, Accra.
His experiences across different parts of the country have influenced his approach to music and storytelling, giving him the versatility to experiment with different sounds while developing his identity as an artiste.
Forever Biny attended Edinaman Senior High School, where he studied General Science, and is currently a final-year student at Accra Technical University pursuing Science Laboratory Technology.
Despite the demands of his academic work, the young artiste has continued to pursue music, which he hopes to develop into a long-term professional career.
Music Journey
Forever Biny began his professional music journey in 2022 after completing secondary school.
After taking a break from active music, he returned to the scene on July 7, 2026, when he signed with Blessed Soul Records, marking a new phase in his career.
The move has provided him with a platform to develop his craft, release new material and position himself for greater recognition within Ghana’s competitive music industry.
His musical style cuts across Afrobeats, reggae and dancehall, reflecting his desire to appeal to different audiences while maintaining his own sound.
Among his earlier releases are “Same God” and “Money,” featuring Solja Billy, which introduced listeners to his songwriting and musical versatility.
‘Rise of the Eagle’
Forever Biny took another major step in his career on August 23, 2026, with the release of his debut three-track Extended Play (EP), “Rise of the Eagle.”
The project features “Same God,” “Real Pain” and “Best Life,” offering listeners different sides of the young artiste’s musical journey.
“Same God” focuses on perseverance through difficult moments, while “Real Pain” explores hardship and loss. “Best Life,” meanwhile, touches on hard work, ambition and the desire for a better life.
Beyond introducing his sound to a wider audience, the EP carries personal significance for Forever Biny.
The project was dedicated to his late mother, who passed away on August 23, 2014. Forever Biny deliberately released the EP on August 23, 2026, exactly 12 years after her death, in tribute to her memory.
According to the artiste, the title “Rise of the Eagle” represents his determination to rise above challenges and continue pursuing his ambitions.
For Forever Biny, the project also marks the beginning of what he hopes will be a bigger chapter in his music career.
At 23, he is balancing university education with the demands of building a professional music career, as he works to establish his name in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
With his debut EP now out, the young musician is looking to expand his audience, release more music and build his presence both in Ghana and beyond.
“Rise of the Eagle” is available on major digital streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Boomplay, Audiomack and YouTube.
