The Kundum Festival remains an important cultural celebration among the Nzema people, providing an avenue for cultural expression, community reunion and the preservation of their rich traditional heritage.
The colourful celebration brought together members of the Nzema community in Côte d’Ivoire, including Ghanaians living in the neighbouring country, to celebrate their rich cultural heritage, traditions and shared identity.
The event also provided an opportunity for members of the community to reconnect with their ancestral roots and strengthen the bonds that unite Nzemas across geographical boundaries.
