Founder of Parliament Chapel International, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, has attracted renewed attention following the outcome of the November 3, 2026 United States midterm elections, after his earlier prophecy that the Republican Party would lose control of the Senate materialised.
The Ghanaian preacher, during a prophetic declaration on September 27, 2026, said he had received a revelation concerning the American midterm elections and specifically predicted that the Republicans would lose their Senate majority to the Democrats.
According to the man of God, the Democrats would emerge with control of the upper chamber of the US Congress, making it difficult for the Republicans to retain their dominance.
He declared:
“When you meet Trump, tell him that the Senate is gone. What I am seeing, the Republicans have lost the Senate. I have seen that the Democrats will control the Senate. It’s going to be difficult for the Republicans to take control of the Senate.”
The prediction has become a major talking point following the November 3 elections, in which Democrats secured enough victories to take control of the Senate, ending the Republicans’ majority.
According to CBS News, Democrats flipped several Republican-held seats, including victories in Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Kansas and Iowa, securing the numbers needed to take control of the chamber.
The development represents a significant political setback for President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, which entered the elections with a 53-47 majority in the Senate.
Reuters also reported on November 4 that Democrats had secured control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives, although vote counting in some Senate contests, including Alaska and Mississippi, remained outstanding.
The outcome has therefore brought renewed attention to Apostle Amoako Attah’s September declaration, in which he specifically mentioned the loss of the Senate by the Republican Party.
Interestingly, the September 27 prophecy was not the only prediction the preacher said he had made concerning American politics.
On October 11, 2026, Apostle Amoako Attah also spoke about American politician Byron Donalds, claiming that events surrounding his earlier prophetic declaration had unfolded as he had predicted.
Reflecting on his prophetic declarations, the Apostle said God had given him the opportunity to look into the American midterm elections and that he had clearly seen the Republicans losing control of the Senate.
His latest prophecy has generated renewed interest in his ministry, particularly among followers who have been tracking his declarations concerning international political developments.
Beyond the American political prediction, Apostle Amoako Attah also pronounced blessings over his congregation, declaring that good things concerning their lives would not fail.
