The PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation has opened applications for the fourth cohort of its Scholars Programme, targeting young people seeking to develop their leadership skills and contribute to Ghana and Africa’s development.
The one-year programme is designed to identify and develop young leaders with a focus on ethics, discipline, resilience and professional development.
A statement signed by Rachael Awinsu Alabilla, Executive Director of the PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation, said applications for Cohort 4 opened on August 3 and will close on September 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. GMT.
The programme is open to applicants between the ages of 18 and 40, who will undergo a selection process for admission into the new cohort.
Founded by Captain (Rtd.) Prince Kofi Amoabeng, the PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation was established to help address leadership challenges in Ghana and across Africa by developing young people with the skills, values and mindset required to take up leadership responsibilities.
According to the foundation, the Scholars Programme goes beyond conventional classroom-based leadership training by exposing participants to a combination of practical and experiential learning.
Selected scholars will participate in military training, leadership boot camps, one-on-one mentorship, job-shadowing opportunities, cultural immersion and leadership seminars during the year-long programme.
The training is expected to help participants develop discipline, integrity, resilience and practical leadership skills while exposing them to different professional and cultural environments.
